Photography is the way I see the world. I notice light, emotions, details, and small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Those are the moments that fascinate me most about photography.

I’m Inna Bystrakova, a photographer based in Prague. In my work, I look for authenticity, atmosphere, and genuine emotions. I’m interested in people as they are, as well as in the world around them — without unnecessary posing or the need to create perfection.

I find inspiration in everyday life, travelling, and discovering new places. I’m also drawn to theatre, galleries, and exhibitions, where I often find new perspectives and inspiration for my own work.

My main focus is portrait photography and street photography. I enjoy observing the world around me and capturing real moments as they happen. Street photography has taught me to notice details, light, atmosphere, gestures, and the stories unfolding around us every day.

When photographing people, I’m interested in their personality, natural expression, and genuine emotions. Every session is different, and I try to approach each person individually.

My goal isn’t to create perfect photographs, but real ones.
I prefer natural beauty, authentic emotions, and photographs that can bring you back to a particular moment — even years later — and tell its story.

I’m constantly learning, exploring new approaches, and finding inspiration in the work of other photographers.

My Gear

I currently work mainly with a Fujifilm X-T5, paired with Fujifilm XF 10–24mm, 16mm, 33mm, 50–140mm, and 56mm lenses.

For street photography and everyday shooting, I also use the smaller and more discreet Fujifilm X100F.
